Pilot Carol Kratz flies a fine approach to a tricky landing on a 2200' sod field just south of Peterson, Iowa. Watch the cell phone tower pass off to the right on short final. The field is owned by Doug Kracht of Peterson. It's a great, old-fashioned grass field, the sort most pilots don't use anymore. Narrow, short, and wedged between corn rows, the strip requires good piloting skills. A fine landing on a fine July day.
Good job Carol! If you were short, you could have landed on the road.

Awesome! Narrow strip, towers and power lines all make this challenging!
