@FraggingBard Heh heh, kangaroo meat doesn't mix with maple syrup. Oh well, you don't choose whom you're related by blood to, so you try to make nice when you can.
-
Hilarious thing is that the other half of the family is Canadian.. Can't win :P
-
@FraggingBard Yep, thats a privilege of a revolver, loading different ammunition in the cylinders. I suppose you would have to put up with constantly re-inserting those shotshells, though.
At least Australia doesn't have big bad bears roaming around. Count your blessings.

That's the spirit. lol
Beauty of the Raging Judge is that you can load it with various ammo, and all at the same time. So a .410 shot charge followed by four .454 Casull. Ultimate backup smaller than a Remington. :P
If the snakes aggressive, then it tends to end up worst off in the matter. Give them a chance to get out and if they take it, then no dead snake. If not, .410

@FraggingBard So this is a back-up gun while hunting? I suppose using it with .410 shotshells to kill snakes or the like would be cheaper than using a larger shotgun for the purpose. Still, it's a little difficult to tell from a suspicious noise in the brush whether or not the snake in question is an endangered species, so checking your target would be well-advised. Maybe another loaded with .454 Casull to put down aggressive large game?

hell boy gun!

It's not really a concealed carry gun. More at home or in the bush. Shotgun shells would be fantastic on snakes. lol
Unfortunately in Aus we have a heap of snakes, but not a lot of guns and even less licenses. This thing would be perfect otherwise. Fit it in a bag or on waist while hiking or anywhere near the bush.
The makers too call it a vehicle defense gun, keep it in the glove box and make large holes in anyone stupid enough to attempt any violence and stay within 15 feet.
-
I now own one, and the 3in is very concealable for a larger guy like myself, however I plan to wear it on my hip, and have it subdued to some degree but no desire to hide it outright until I can afford the other part of my custom holster so I can go from the hip to under the shoulder in one move without taking it from the holster :) as for hearing damage I could care less as long as the BG was good and dead.

@applianceoutlet Besides, unless you're hunting with this gun, wouldn't shooting a .454 Casull round in a self-defense situation (likely indoors or a confined alley etc., with no opportunity to done hearing protection beforehand) leave you with permanent hearing damage, especially with the short barrel? More a gun for the range than practical carry most of the time in my view.
The short barrel + massive cylinder size combo doesn't make much sense to me, unless this is the sort of self-defense firearm that you store in a glove compartment or in a desk drawer or the like, not concealed on your person.
