Slalom Water Skiing Sproat Lake 41 off 41off

A http://www.fluidmotionsports.com video by http://www.fmrecords.ca Put the rope on the 41 loop and went for it, during a summer lunchtime set. In October the water on Sproat Lake is cold and ultra-fast so very short lines are next to impossible. Looking forward to giving 41 another try this year.

i see you have the camera on a platform so that when the skiers move it stays right on them. did you make that? or can you buy them?

how deep is the lake at the deepest. i can barely run a pass at 28 off. i always miss 3ball. oh well i didnt do so hot last year, have to try again

at the one end of the course it is like 300 feet, crazy deep. Used a ton of rope there. closer to shore it is 50ft. I've been told 600ft max depth. the water is so clear it looks like wall of ice just after the turn it's cool. 28 off you start to need decent turns and pulls...if you ski is too locked in at the back end it will carve turns with too wide a radius to run shorter lines. binding & fin position (wheelbase) and fin area (tires!) it's like setting up an F1 machine.

i can't complete a '39 pass, but will be making some changes this year. last year didn't do so hot. on this vid probably sunk 2 ball on that last go for broke, but the boat rpm was down quite a bit. going too slow you end up sinking though.

41 is ridiculous! ive ridden at 43 and i couldnt get anywhere near 1ball, im riding on a 08 Goode 9700 65 inch, thing is a rocketship, the Syndicate A1 is awesome too man

damn thats deep. my lake is 30 at its deepest! but yeah im gonna practice some more and see if i can loosen up that back end. thanks bro!

living on the lake, ski more crash way, way less. crashing is risky. in fact you ski really not to crash. there is more time to figure it all out.
