Recorded on Monday 2nd November 2009 under the influence of some heavy bastard of a virus which permeates most aspects of the music with respect of trance delirium and the welcome accommodations of the inner-soul wherein such a dialectic rages, giving rise to this quite charming little number which I can't take any real credit for even though it's all me, as it were. Just four tracks each improvised in real time with an unlikely 4tet of frame drum (Moroccan bendir & bells) / accordion (48-bass Weltmiester, only three of which are heard here) / muted pocket trumpet (from India via ebay circa 2004 and still my darling wee baby) / violin (three weeks in my keeping and already proving fruitful). This is an alternative spectral mix of something intended for my forthcoming album of No-Age Sounds (Blod-Monath) and because of its evident echoes and derivations (Slurf Song, Hog of the Forsaken, Area Three, Eternity in D, Relativity Suite, Hear and Now) I thus dedicate it to Snock (Michael Hurley), Don Cherry and the Third Ear Band. The rest is pure Sedayne.

  • I love this! A musical gateway into another dimension, which is what trancemusic should be. Really evocative - excellent! Thanks!
