could you use this to see if u were being flood ? i presume so but ami correct ???

One thing I think could also be highlight, is that wireshark is amazing for just finding out what ICMP messages are being transmitted. Things like PMTUD failing due to Firewalls blocking ICMP can be hard to find, as the data will pass as long as the packet does not require fragmenting. Wireshark is great.
