The trailer for Sam Raimi's second film Crimewave (co-written by Joel & Ethan Coen), aka The Xyz Murders. This is exactly the same as the other trailer available on YouTube except the "Crimewave" title is restored and there is some alternate voiceover to accommodate this. Stars Reed Birney, Sheree Smith, Louise Lasser, Brion James, Paul Smith and the mighty Bruce Campbell. Ripped from the original UK Embassy VHS release of The Sure Thing.

i love these kind of movies.this movie is weird, over the top and just awesome.i love sam raimi and the coen brothers.you put those guys together and you get crimewave. the only thing wrong with the film is i wish there would have been more scenes with bruce campbell,he was hilarious !!

One of the best romantic action comedies ever! XD
Raimi Bros. + Coen Bros. = win. I don't know why Sam divorced his name from this masterpiece. Sure, the studio hijacked it, but they ended up with a movie that's actually a lot of fun to watch. It's like a live-action carto0n of demented do0m!

I still have a Dutch version on VHS titled: Killer academy.I use to work as a video clerk and they wanted to throw it away.Years later I bought it on DVD and to me it's a great movie.I like the overacting by Paul L. Smith and Brion James.The cocky scene done by Bruce hitting on the girl:'I haven't seen you here before.I like that kind of woman' and the pistol shot sound effects.
