Tarka Trail from East Yarde to Bideford Bridge

Rode out along the Tarka Trail from Bideford on a damp, drizzly day. Headed inland as far as the car park between Merton and Petrockstowe -- about 16 miles. Had lunch in the pub at Merton (quaint old converted stables) and then headed back. Started filming at Yarde once the drizzle stopped. We stopped at the Blacksmith's Arms in Bideford but it was too much of a typical 'town pub' for us -- maybe the cafe in the carriage at the station just beyond would have been better.
