I've been considering speed running MM9, under the conditions of the run being single segment (the way REAL men play Mega Man games!) starting from a clean save (0 screws).

Currently this is my best time. It's obviously improvable, which is why I'm not submitting it to SDA. However, I thought I'd post it here to amuse, if nothing else.

Comments on how to improve sections is always appreciated.

Do you plan on doing a speed run with Proto Man? I'd like to see that. I liked this video too. I'm going to apply some of the tricks you used to make my second playthrough easier. I got MM9 the day it came out on Wii, Sept. 22, but I've only played through it once! I've gotten to Wily's Castle 2 with Proto Man, but I haven't beaten it yet, so I think a Proto Man speedrun would be cool (and helpful).

No, I do not have any plans on running Proto Man, Hero Mode, or Super Hero Mode, nor am I really working on improving this run. I've moved on to new things and improving other runs I've done.

how is your time 29:20 but your videos combined is 36 minutes without the credits O_O

In-game timer is used, which doesn't count a lot of things, like stage select screen, weapon get screen, etc.

I've heard reports of somebody actually pulling off all 5 in out round. I haven't seen any video yet though.
