After unlawfully arresting two Christian evangelists for peacefully preaching on a public sidewalk outside Masjid Al Jamia, a mosque located near the University of Pennsylvania campus, UPENN police record over the video footage. The footage showed Officer Nicole Michel harassing and assaulting one of the evangelists before she and another officer unlawfully arrested them. The evangelists were found "not guilty" of several trumped-up charges at trial on November 12, 2010 by Philadelphia Municipal Judge Charles Hayden.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The original recording started at 9:37:15PM (as you can see on the screen), and about a second later, the footage started to be recorded over, which was well after the evangelists were taken into custody. In the background are noises from the police van, including sounds from one of the officer's radios.
I second the call to taking this to the state police or even the FBI. This is tampering with evidence and the person(s) responsible should be dealt with. If they are willing to do this....what else are they willing to do.

Why shouldn't the policeperson that did that be arrested. I guess any thing goes as long as it doesn't have anything to do with Jesus.

Bring the video to the police chief or state police as evidence of destruction of evidence. In most if not all municipalitys it is a felony to destroy evidence. Dont be intimidated!
