One of the most beautiful traits of "Jane Eyre (1973)" is the warmth displayed by the actors and actresses on screen. The way John Baddeley ('Mr. Lloyd') asks Juliet Waley ('young Jane') "Well, who am I?..." is the first remarkable example of this warmth.

Of all Mr. Lloyds I have seen, he is the sweetest. What a pity the role was not larger.

Aww, thank you, how kind! I think he enjoyed it anyway, even if it was a small role. He got on very well with the actress who played 'Young Jane' I believe! Apparently she is a doctor now!
