Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski has become the first U.S. Senate candidate in decades to win a write-in campaign after a count of hand-written votes in Alaska. The state Republican party has asked her opponent, Joe Miller, to withdraw. (Nov. 17)

Good to see somebody finally see so many punch the smug, witch-hunting tea party leadership square in the mouth. Most of the people who called "RINO" (Angle, O'Donnell, Miller, Rossi, Paladino, etc.) won the primaries, but got wiped out in the general. I think it's well past time for "RINOs" (which really means people who don't froth at the mouth at the concept of moderate politics) to start fighing back against the morons who hijacked the GOP.
