This short film i have created is a result of learning about the photographic technique known as 'Tilt Shift'.
I thought this effect could portray society in a new light and show how small space we really take up and what we look light as an entity from a new perspective.

Each one of the sequences in this film were shot on a digital Nikon D70 single lens reflex camera and one shot using a Nikon D90. Each sequence consists of between 100 - 300 individual photographs which i later upload onto the computer and add the blur/tilt shift effect.

The images are all shot in the UK taken in Chester, London, Leeds and Wrexham i wanted to travel for the shots so the viewer could associate some of the famous places in the video e.g. The London Eye.

The definition of Interstices is 'A space, especially a small or narrow one, between things or parts' I think the portrayal of human beings filling a space, in groups especially, links to this beautifully.
