@troysk1 Well said. I was looking for this part in the play, with the "In Quella Tepida Notte" performance, instead of the ballad of Billy McCaw. I once chose this song for an audition. Sure, this is not a Broadway production, and the video and audio recording are not of very high quality, but the performance comes across very powerful. I was impressed with the actors' voice. Please thank your friends. I give them two thumbs up!

Why is this song not in Andrew Lloyd Webber's version of Cats?

@catwomanjellicle I agree with you!

the sound was a bit.. off. Understanding this is local theater, I would hope that you realize you are making this version of CATS in a fashion that is disrespectful to T.S. Eliott and to Furries

@ryoohki - As I stated earlier to another who posted somewhat negative comments, please do not just throw in negative comments without at least some sort of explanation as to why the negativity. How is this disrespectful to T.S. Eliot (only 1 t in the last name by the way - talk about disrespect) and to Furries? I don't mind constructive criticism. In fact, I welcome it. Otherwise how else can one improve? But to just simply bash for no real reason is uncalled for.

@troysk1 TSE never wanted something that looked cartoon-like, tacky or anything like that. It took alot of negotiation on ALW's part to even get permission to use the book of poetry.

@ryoohki - Thank you for your explanation. This I can respect and accept (for the most part). I was not aware of the drawn out negotiation process for ALW to even get permission to use the book of poetry. As far as being cartoon-like, tacky, or anything like that I guess comes down to those who truly appreciate poetry on it's written level and are more left to their own imagination for imagery vs. those who truly appreciate the theatre for it's interpretation.

Actually, this was Andrew Lloyd Webber's version of Cats. It was just not put on the video because of John Mills (Gus) age at the time of the video. He was not up to the physical challenges faced for portraying the role of Growltiger.

Please keep in mind this is a local theatre group and not a broadway production. I know these people personally and know that they put forth quite an effort for this production. You are entitled to your opinion, however, if you are going to be negative, have something or some clout to back it up. Thanks
