"Single Payer" Rally & March - Portland, Oregon - 11.19.11

Backers of "Single Payer", and Occupy Portland, rally and march in support for Single Payer Health Care movement, in Portland, Oregon, on 11/19/11.

The video starts at Waterfront Park , where several speakers talk about the need for Single Payer, and then plant crosses in the lawn in memorial for people that die each year in Oregon due to being uninsured, or underinsured. The marchers then head up SW Morrison street to Pioneer Courthouse Square where many people speak about why they are mad about the current system of health care. Then the group marches down to Saturday Market to end the event.
