  • wtf? please tell me you put your hands up tp protect you head. no one is that good they can afford to lead with their chin. very interesting techniques though.

  • @kravstew yep, you would put your hands up for protections when neccesary - but these aren't techniques as such, more drills to encourage good footwork and movement

  • @kravstew In order to gain effective self defense skills you must train in the worst case scenario. I can tell you from my experience that with lots of attacks the attacker will attack without any warnings whatsoever. You wouldn't even have time to put your hands up. Its good to know how to use a stance but its also just as important if not more to learn how to defend yourself in your regular passive stance.

  • Thanks for all the videos Perten, I live in Spain and don't have any schools / dojos where they teach this...although I got an ex-Soviet Vet. who maybe willing to teach me Sambo :D Big up from spain.

  • @ElHanko what's to tell? JUST LOOK. No disrespect, but this is how the art is TAUGHT. In order to really learn it you have to get in there, experience it, and FEEL it. Think trying to describe the concept of swimming to some one who has never been in the water, experienced the pressure, and buoyancy, and undercurrents. Difficult, it not impossible to get complete understanding. All I can say is that once youre in their flowing its a beautiful thing....

  • Elhanko....they NOT going to just TELL us how to do it. these videos are so you can get a grasp on what to do. for the rest you need to buy the DVD's and go to a class...

  • Thanks, but please do some explanations on how to do this stuff...

  • Thanks for these videos!
