Grandia: Final Battle Music

This is FINALLY on YouTube.

Grandia is special--it doesn't have singular tracks to make the music. The music is spliced, mixed and matched to make the music. This song in particular borrows from: Gaia Fuuka (Gaia Hatches), Approaching Crisis, Battle 1, Leen vs. Gaia, and the last part of Approaching Crisis (only heard in the final battle).

So here it is! This was an awesome fricking song and I couldn't believe that it wasn't recorded! For shame!

So, with the help of a guy named Spitball Sparky on www.luminehall.net, he recorded the song for us to enjoy, and me to OMG over.

Also, I'm not dead. Team Fortress 2 and Christmas has taken over my life.

I love how the final boss theme is a huge medley of various battle themes from the game. I cant say I've seen any other final boss theme do that...

I beat it today on ePSXe after digging my old copy of the game out from a cupboard somewhere. Being on an emulator where the only smooth running mode was at about 4x actual game speed I managed to beat the last 3 bosses without using magic or potions by sticking it in "Play Fair". I love Emulation :')

Huh. Before seeing this video I tried making it myself using the OST and Audacity, amazing how similar the results are... but ultimately this one is better.
