Billboard - Top 20 Rock (1/21/2012)

@MonsterTruckManiaTV I agree with you, but the Billboard's "Rock Songs" also take into account songs from alternative, indie rock and triple-A stations. The "Rock songs" chart is a composite chart; You have to go to "Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks" to get the rankings of what you consider rock (But you have to suscribe online to do that).

@MonsterTruckManiaTV I totally agree with you.

Black Keys forever

Rock? heh..please.

Fuck, Shake Me Down should of been number one. x/

@MonsterTruckManiaTV actually what you have to understand is that maybe they aren't stereotypical rock, there's this thing called "indie" which does have some more pop influence and is a little softer/slower but that's what people consider "Rock" now a days.

Billboard Rock Songs combines airplay data from 3 other charts: Mainstream Rock, Alternative, and your prime suspect, Triple A (Adult Album Alternative). A lot of non-rock songs can be heard on Triple A stations, such as Adele.
Billboard is fucked up shit. Half of these songs aren't even rock songs.
Stone Sour, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Bush, Seether, and Rise Against are awesome. It's a shame "Ghost of Days Gone By" by Alter Bridge, "It's Not Me It's You" by Skillet, "On The Backs of Angels" by Dream Theater, "Public Enemy #1" by Megadeth, "Trip the Darkness" by Lacuna Coil, and "Fight Em Til You Can't" by Anthrax didn't get much recognition.

@MonsterTruckManiaTV I agree. I like the songs on here, i just think some of them are... misplaced? Just because they have a guitar doesn't qualify them as rock.
