First try did not work. Tried again; noticed a piece of hair wrapped around the runner of the laser. Removed, cleaned again, now works good. Also, tried to run it with the disc drive top off, like in your video, to make sure my laser worked. And when the laser popped up the disc got pushed off track. Could have been because I pushed it on the runner, so it didn't know where it was.

Any how, thanks a lot! My 360 no longer tells me to "Open Tray" when disc in.

Good video. But it didn't work for me.

When I insert a disc, all it says is "open tray" as if it doesnt think there's a disc in at all. Any suggestions? I'm gonna try cleaning it again -.-

Tried this, but it didn't work. Tried with two disc drives, and both didn't work.

i took it all apart and then i get to the disc drive and the top magnet is sealed with silicon and its terrible to remove is there any suggestions how to fix it my GT is xMRUxNiGhTMaR send message with 360 help or friend request
