Actually Armand was 17 when he was made into a vampire, not 14 but you were Close, to be honest though Antonio Banderas did a wonderful Job at Playing Armand. It was disappointing that they left out Louis and Lestat's Mother besides, Lestat has Girls and men falling for him all the time whats so different if Jesse falls in love with him??

@time0space0witch Lestat is not straight, he is not gay, he is not bi-sexual, he is omnisexual like all of Anne Rice's vampires. He loves no matter gender, sexual preference, or like in the case of his love for David. Age. None of that matter when your a vampire.

@101guineapigs dont forget that both movies messed up Armand. Armand was supposed to be a redheaded 14 year old boy.

But in the first they made him apear as a 30 year old man with black hair. In QotD, they made him a fuckin QP doll with blonde ringlets.

@time0space0witch i think the movie turned out great for a movie but it defiantly wasn't true to the book, Lestat has BLOND hair, how hard is it to get the details right, i think it's painfully obvious that the only purpose of the movie was to Make Lestat sexy, and he didn't need to be changed to do that! Still, I love the movie for a movie.
