But he also stated in 2007 that the president (obviously referring to Bush) had no right without congress approval to send troops to war, now it's 2011 and what does he do? Oh and the way obomba consults with congress is to just ask his insiders if the will cause a fuss if he does something. Nothing as formal as actually making a physical presentation to a session. They are much to chummy for all the formalities. It is all inside baseball. They have it all figured out you see all we have to do is sit back and watch them strike out time after time and not rub it in when they loose the whole game for us as a nation. Seargentbean, you are actually not being truthful. While I cannot stand GW Bush, and think him to be a horrible President, and not someone I would want representing me, he went to Congress, and they overwhelmingly approved of military action. In other words, at least he did it Constitutionally. Nobody is over reacting, we aren't reacting enough imo. Obama has taken a complete dump on our Constitution, if Congress had a pair, he would be in a serious hot seat right now

In response to KingLutherQ, you have to be delusional not to think that dropping bombs on another nation's citizens, shooting down it's aircraft, and invading with troops (Yes we have boots in the sand there, don't let them fool you) is not a war. He did not notify Congress like he was supposed to, not only that, he was supposed to get their approval, not just notify them. The last time I checked, the UN and Europe are not our government., nor are they a part of our Constitution.
