Wiimote guitar effects

Finally got it working!

I connected the wiimote via Bluetooth to the pc (using bluesoleil), then installed midiyoke and midiox.
Using glovePie, with midi output on a midiyoke channel, I wrote a script (that can't be posted because some of the ascii characters ain't allowed in videos' description).

Then I rerouted the midiyoke output to an input via the MidiOx;
finally made guitar rig read the midi input and "learn" the commands for the effect modulation..
Then just play!!!!

ps: I know that can't be called tapping, but it was just for a test ;)

But is there any way to make it more precise?

I think you cannot make it more precise, since we're using an accelerometer as a gyroscope... but you can still limit the range, so the values between max and min vary by smoother angles; you only have to test it and go on trying!

Let me know if you succeed in obtaining a precise variation and, if you wish, post a response video!

Hey mate, I'm not interested in using the wii remote at this stage, just stuck trying to get guitar rig to recognize my midi inputs.

Could you please help me - Just need to know how to get it started. Got letter A assigned to midi Button1. Midi ox detects input all good.

I clikc learn in GR but nothing. Could you please post a small guide for me and others? THANKS!
