Someone help me out on this if you can. I'm a huge fan of the show, and I've seen every episode as many times as anyone else. This episode has always perplexed me. Here's why: Kelly and Charlie are talking, and then Charlie said "There's just one problem. There's a bomb in your car". How can he know that? How does he know that? The criminals didn't tell anyone! Of course, on a minor level, how does he know she doesn't have the suitcase with her when she gets out of the car?

@Beautifulmusiclistnr I know it sounds crazy, but I think this scene kind of adds a new dimension of mystery and power to Charlie. The fact that he knows there's a bomb in the car and that she left the brief case, in a way, makes him this all-knowing, all-seeing omniscient being -- or they just needed a reason to be dramatic ;)

That mustang she was driving was new at the time. I don't see them blowing up a new car. neat special effect.

Maybe she had him on speaker phone???? There were lots of inconsistencies on the show. The stunt doubles in bad wigs were my favorite.
