As a 55 yr. old rocker it's good to be old as I have gotten to see the best bands over the years! :) I have always been into music and you cannot name too many bands I have not seen.

In saying that in the thousands of concerts I have been to Ann Wilson hands down has the best and most powerful voice I have seen in person! :)

As far as I can tell, she is doing this in the same key that it was initially recorded in. Very few singers , male or female, can wail out a song in the same key after what....um....released in 1987, so thats 13 carry the 4, drop the numerator, and add 3 (for 2003 of course) and that gives you 16 years? I'd not be surprised if she could nail the song the same way today.

I have the opposite opinion. You are a little older than me but in 40 years I have never heard anyones redition of Alone come close to Sasha's. That includes Heart and Celine.

Sasha Allen on The Voice did "Alone' but NO, it was just not comparable at all! The Wilson sisters are absolutely breathtaking and this song, I'd say no one else can touch how they perform it! Everyone was gushing about Sasha, but I'm 50 years old so I KNOW how Heart has always done it, and just this is lovely, and I couldn't stand to hear it last night on the Voice! lol, I know it's a strong opinion.
