My name is Chad Spears. I'm a student at the University of Idaho. I have a Master of Architecture degree, and am now finishing my Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance! I'm originally from Boise, ID and have been playing piano for 19 years.
This is a recording of me playing Rachmaninoff's Prelude in B-flat Major, Op. 23, No. 2 at my Junior Piano Recital on December 1st, 2007 at the Lionel Hampton School of Music Recital Hall (University of Idaho). Before the prelude, I played his Etude-Tableaux in B Minor, Op. 39, No. 4 and then his Prelude in G-flat Major, Op. 23, No. 10 (performed all three as a set). I hope you enjoy the recording, flaws and all! It's a fun piece to play.
