  • well, i can't really decide if i like it or not. the vocals are obviously good; maybe it was the wrong song because i just watched eleanor rigby and i was blown away. i feel like this song was rushed and a little pitchy. you probably should have performed this in a higher key.

  • See now, that's what's called constructive criticism. What you're seeing/hearing is dramatic artistic growth. This was Janelle's sophomore year (and first public performance), while Eleanor Rigby was junior year. Check out her performances of Better Be Quiet Now and Amateur from that same junior year Unplugged. Phenomenal.

  • You're doing the Lord's work in introducing the little bastards at your school to the Beatles.

  • You have talent, but you need to slow down on the guitar and practice blackbird a little more so you get the tempo down. But overall, you did good. I'm just learning the lyrics now. I'm such a noob. lol

  • woooooooooooooooooooow girl u r a star

  • @Santogoldfan10 Plenty of people, especially women and guys with small balls, play with their legs crossed. Those kinds of arbitrary rules only apply to classical guitarists.

  • @heavyasahorse There are plenty of kids who wouldn't know a Beatle song if it ran up and bit them in the ass. All one has to do is look at the outrageously mislabeled songs on any P2P network to confirm this.

  • @Hoopermazing no one needs to be introduced to the beatles. if you're alive at any point you will hear of the beatles. they're not the most obscure band.

  • She's good. I am learning Blackbird also. Have not got calluses yet. ): Only problem is you never sit with your legs crossed.

  • Beautiful voice! So sweet and pure...thank you (from six years in the future)

  • I don't post only the perfect videos. This is a flawed performance, but I still think it's worth showing to people. There was nothing wrong with your criticism, just that I thought it was irrelevant because of the age of the clip.
