1960 Hillman Minx series IIIA Deluxe Saloon

This is my Father's 1960 Hillman Minx series IIIA Deluxe Saloon , she has been restored recently here in Greece in 2008 , the cost was not big , only 3.750 euros in parts , paint and bodywork , chrome and for new tyres. She is now member of the "EO FILPA" "Greek": (ΦΙΛΠΑ - Φίλοι Παλαιού Αυτοκινήτου) "English": (Friends of Old Cars Club of Greece) and of the "Federation Internationale des Vehicules Anciens" (FIVA). She was an active every-day-use car urtil 1998 , she has run over 1.000.000 miles and now in 2010 she is celebrating her Golden Jubillee... !!! 50 !!! years old...

I was not quite seven years old when my dad traded in his last Hillman for a Valiant. He would have bought another one but they were not importing them anymore back in the fall of '64.

As Ray K says, "great little car." (My dad always said they were the best cars he ever owned.)

great little car. i had a 1959 minx. bought it second hand in montreal in 1968. loved it. she never let me down.
