  • ff you criminal scum, why wont you arrest the subversives who defrauded the state for billions, you're a insult

  • This recession was caused by policys that the Fianna Fail government persued...it allowed the banking system run riot without any proper regulation...simply cos the same politicans were hand in glove with the same bankers...this guy is a moutpiece for everything that was wrong and is wrong in my country....corruption ran all the way down from the top in this country...and now we pay the price for it..!

  • if you want to know what the recession was caused by watch "zeitgeist addendum" on you tube

  • /watch?v=9ANtPKYnnyQ

  • I saw first hand the cancer of greed tear Ireland apart, greedy shallow people, the problem is they wont be the ones to suffer its the poor and the venerable who'll do that.

  • @PuReIriSh2010 well said.. well said..

  • The reccesion its most likely YOUR FAULT not some corrupt devil like bankers (jews). Supply and demand dipshits the bankers have no moral obligation to look

after you they dont force anyone to take the loans LEAVE THE BANKS ALONE

  • When I was in college (and not earning money), banks were sending me credit cards every week. This was reckless behaviour by them. Now the ordinary worker has to bail out those unregulated, reckless bastards.

  • There's nothing stopping Ireland starting up a 'local currency' which can only be used in Ireland and Ireland could obviously decide its own interest rates on this. This could be used alongside the Euro and could stimulate local economic activity.

I don't think Lenihan is on top of his brief. I think he's floundering and I don't think he knows what he's doing. Essentially, the government is in management of a country, even though they have no experience of managing anything in their lives!
