  • Put the following into google...

(Roger Ebert: Two Thumbs Upfor a Movie Youre Unlikey to See)

and read Roger Ebert's glorious review and his story on how the film maker is being treated poorly by greedy corporations that aren't letting her release her own movie.

Then go to her website (Ebert provides links) and lend some support there.

This film deserves a chance to be seen!

  • You can accept it because Hinduism is henotheistic—tolerant of differing views and interpretations of stories. How many 100's of interpretations of this tale have there been through the centuries ... some quite explicit! No insult was intended, instead the whole film is very fun. Your complaint is like saying VeggieTales is an insult to Christianity.

  • I accept Hinduism is about tolerance. it will accept any critical remarks, critics views but how far. if u guys just put some holy scripture modified with ur so called Independence of thought and present it in the audience with ur vision which of course showing ur sick mentality its not fine..if ur interested in history show the truth why fucking lies to gain popularity....i like Ramayana and dont want any asshole to modified it according to his/her wish

  • Niggr shit

  • @veshengri There's a Thor movie coming out next year.

  • This is sacrilegious... Please remove it!!!

  • I'm not Hindu, I'm Pagan.... But... If someone wanted to make such a cool and beautiful cartoon about *my* gods, they can feel free. ;) I'll look forward to it!

  • To humanize our god(gods) is to analyze

ourselves & better ourselves in a society. VERY HEALTHY. Look at a society like Pakistan which fails to do so. Those religious zealots are so afraid of any changes & inner challenges, become full of hatred , destroying their own country by attacking their own most vulnerable & weakest of society, their own women. How sick that can be.

  • will all of you just calm down i can understand why you would be upset but grow up its just a movie it was not ment to offend any one in any way she just wanted to make the story more interesting so get a life and leave well enought alone

  • Our gods are humanized, they study like us, fight like us, enjoy like us, and when separated from their spouses they cry like us. That is Hinduism.

Also, Hinduism provides freedom of analysis, interpretation and artistic expression. That's why khajuraho's seeming sexual idols are situated insie a "temple", and the most technical book on sex, kaamshaastra, is called a shaastra.

Your disappointment is healthy Hindu culture. Other religionists might have threatened beheading and suicide bombing.
