The last part with Archie and Gloria was simply beautiful. It brings tears to my eyes

Its a ruse that this show was "against ethnic bigotry". Many Americans parroted Archies' anti-Polish slurs after watching this show. There is a reason why Archie was called "A loveable bigot". It was to make his anti-Polish bigotry as acceptable as possible to Americans.

This is one of various anti-Polish shows that reflect the anti-Polish bigotry of the left-wing Hollywood bigots who produced them.

The producer of this show, Norman Lear, claimed this show was supposed to be "against ethnic bigotry" by making Archie "look bad". Many Polish Americans feel this is BS, since the 1970's, the time when this show ran, was the peak of anti-Polish joke slurs in the US.

Many Polish Americans were harrased with the same anti-Polish slurs that Archie made. Polish people were ridiculed and mocked as being "dumb Polacks" and "Meatheads" all throughout the US when this show ran.

This is one of the few token times where "All in the Family" portrayed Polish people in a sympathetic light.

Many of the other times, Mike the Polish guy is ridiculed with anti-Polish Nazi subhuman intelligence jokes, with Mike looking like a bafoon. This was the objective of the Left-wing producer Norman Lear, to push out over the airwaves into the minds of millions of Americans.... anti-Polish slurs.

Although Archie degraded various groups, the Polish got it the worst.
