@betasector I know that thanx for the tip anyway. If I'm not mistaking 512/512 even smaller resolution images can be used for props in games, am I right? Good luck with the game. Keep it up.

can you please tell me what are the use of the masp you generated with smart normals?
and where can i find more information about maps ..and the use of them
the only maps i now how to use are the diffuse and the alphas..

They are used for generating bumps on a surface, adding more detail without real geometry.

Interesting tutorial and very helpful as well. I have a little question, not sure if you mentioned maybe I missed that part but can you tell me the resolution of your image?

I did not mention it, but its the default 1024x1024. I would advice against using a texture as big as this if you want to do props, they could go with way smaller textures.

It depends on the object. If it is small and wont be close to the player, it could even use 64x64 or 32x32.
