1. He wasn't cut from strikeforce, his contract had ended.

2. Every fighter loses at some point, the man was undefeated for 10 years. Had at least 13 top 10 wins. Was ranked number one HW from 2003 when he one the PrideFC championship until he lost to Werdum in 10'

3. He is not overrated, he has just had a bad run towards the end of his career. So i'm guessing Chuck was shit? and Machida? Shogun? Wanderlei? was Cro Cop shit too?... idiot.

@lukedrouin I don't know why people back this guy up so much. I have the best fight record in the world 1,000,000 in 0......... against mosquito's. Pride was a stepping stone for fighters to get to the real world championship in the UFC. As are all the other organizations. Everyone knows Fedor "was" good, but when he had the chance he didn't step up. We can speculate all day long but he never won the big strap. without it he will never be considered the best.

@lukedrouin fedor never tested himself against the best in the world? in 2001-06 the best heavyweights in the world were Crocop, Minotauro, Couture and Coleman. And fedor beat 3 of them, couture he never faced because he fought in UFC, while fedor fought in pride. its sounds stupid when you say "We will never know how good fedor could have been" its like as if you only watch UFC and assume that UFC is MMA
