The Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Party!!!

Hey everyone!

This video shows all the highlights of the Super Mario Bros. 25th anniversary party at the Nintendo World Store right in New York City! I was at this event myself and I was essentially VIP at this event, it was a blast.

When I arrived at the store, the line was pretty small, but by the time I actually got to go in, the line outside had to be at least a tenth of a mile long. And I got to go into the store 2 hours before it even opened it's doors officially!!!!

This was insane, the best part by far wasn't the fact that they let me in early, but rather that I got to meet the man who kept Nintendo alive to where it is toda, Shigeru Miyamoto!!! I also met Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of Nintendo of America and got to talk with both of them very briefly.

In this video, I am interviewed by Nintendo Week, which is available for download on the Wii itself under the Nintendo Channel. I was to speedrun Super Mario Bros. I did really well in my first attempt (and this attempt is shown here), while my 2nd attempt was really a disaster. I had fun and that's all that really matters.

I also got interviewed by about 10 different people about my speedrunning and how I got into it and such. This was a fantastic day. I don't think it could have been any cooler :)

A few things:

First, congrats mr. G. You have earned that title of "The Speedrunner".

Second, that is really cool that you got to meet Miyamoto. Considering that I'm only 14, I don't really have the power to just decide that I'm going to the party. XD

Third, nevrmind, I thought I had more to say. I will say that I finally beat Super Mario Bros yesterday, though it was only because I finally got it for my NES yesterday.
