So what are the barriers to entry for this group?

The arbitrary discrimination of people based on where someone is born is as arbitrary as what race you where born into. Arbitrary discrimination shares all the attributes of racism. Not to mention the historical overt racial selection and exclusion of immigrants.

Don't make up the meaning of terms based upon the terms... Socialism is not about society, it's about Government ownership, and ironically "nationalisation" of industries. Nationalism is not about the nation state, it's about the nation, that is the people of the country whom it is the PURPOSE of government to help, and it's not "racist" for the Government to do it's job and do only what is wished by it's employers (the citizens) and not to choose new employers (immigrants). Grow up.

I agree.  Shut up Stratvic. The word racism is being bandied about for anything. Anyway where is racism? We are all the same race, the human race, think of another word to describe it cos it ain't racism. Nationalism is racism.

This is a conservative talking about the affect of immigration on the collective and the need to protect the collective (society) from individuals. Is that not socialist?
