It's also a mental confidence thing. Part of it is working hard, cleats do help though.

yeh my stepdad reckons players should be able to play in dunlop volleys and not notice the difference. But when i was nine i changed from kids umbros to nike mercurial TALARIAS, and there was a huge difference. But im gettin vapors or lasers next year so =)

shoes dont make a good player, but they do help alot. We always think we are going to play better witth our new cleats, that is MENTAL and do helps you.

If you're a good player, you could still play good without good shoes. Although you won't be playing in your prime, if your shoes hurt, you'll be distracted, if they're heavy, you'll be distracted, run slow and move slow. If they have bad touch, you have bad control. Control is most important. Plus, if the material is bad, if it sticks to the ball, the lower part of the sole area is not conneced with the higher part... then your def fucked.
