*Kevin's POV*
I was on my way to Starbucks, or should I say WE were on our way to Starbucks. Big Rob insisted on coming with me saying "I have to know what this girl looks like, so I can let her pass if she wants to see you". So, I let him come. We arrived at the Starbucks, got out of the van with tinted glass and walked inside. I scanned the place for Haley but, she hadn't gotten there yet...
*Nick's POV*
I had taken a shower, gotten dressed, and rinsed out my mouth with Listerine, about 50 times! Now, I was hungry... Joe walked into the room...
*Convo in Nick's POV*
Joe: Nick? I was wondering, who did you think you were kissing?
Spring! you dummy! I thought to myself...
Nick: Spring.
I mumbled...
Joe: Who?
Nick: Spring!
Joe laughed...
Joe: That's what I thought, don't worry I won't pick on you.
Was he feeling sick or something...
Nick: Why not? Do you feel sick?
Joe: No. I'm just worried of what you'll do for revenge. I mean after the whole "Janette I dare you to FRENCH KISS Joe!' thing.
Nick: *smiles* Good. Are you hungry? 'Cause I'm starved!
My stomach grumbled to prove my point...
Joe: Yeah, let's order room service.
He picked up the phone to order breakfast. And I decided to call Spring. It was ringing...
*Phone Convo in Nick's POV*
Spring: Hi Nick.
Nick: Hey. How's school?
She didn't respond, instead I heard a bang and a guy's voice say "Hey, baby. Did you miss me last night?". She had a boyfriend?! I thought she said she had a crush on me?!...
Nick: WHATS GOING ON?!!
I was really mad...the guy picked up the phone, I could hear muffled yelling on the other end...
????: Who is this?
Nick: It's Nick. Who the heck are YOU?!
????: Jake.
I took in a deep breath...
Nick: Jake? Are you Spring's boyfriend?
Jake: Yup! And she is going to scream my name tonight!
I could have bet that I saw a purity ring on her left hand. Then I heard Spring yell "Don't believe him Nick"...
Nick: OKAY! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!! GET OFF OF SPRING!!
Joe turned with the phone still pressed to his ear, and looked at me questioningly...
Jake: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Who do you think you are? Don't answer that. Goodbye.
The line went dead. I had to help Spring...
Nick: Joe? Call Janette.
Joe shrugged...
Joe: Okay.
He dialed her number...
Nick: Give me the phone.
He handed it to me, I guess he was scared not knowing why I was so angry...
Janette: Hello?
Nick: Hi this is Nick. I think you should check on Spring.
Janette: Why's that?
Nick: BECAUSE THIS GUY, JAKE WAS...I'M NOT QUITE SURE WHAT HE WAS DOING! BUT, HE LIED TO ME SAYING HE WAS HER BOYFRIEND AN-*cut off by Janette*
Janette: Oh! Pretzels! Jake! I have to go help her! Bye Nick.
She didn't say he wasn't her girlfriend. Maybe he was her boyfriend and he was abusive. If so, she should dump him. Then I thought. Pretzels?...
Joe: What was that about?
I went on to explain...
Joe: *wide eyed* I hope she's okay! I don't think he is her boyfriend Nick.
He said, while putting his had on my shoulder...
Nick: I hope not! I like her...allot.
Joe: I know lil' bro.
I gave him a weak smile, and room service came to the door. We sat down and ate breakfast, Joe had ordered waffles...
*Spring's POV*
I can't believe Jake did that! I knew he was bad, but he told Nick he was my boyfriend! I hope he doesn't believe that! Jake was still on top of me in the hall, where the heck are all the teachers when you need them?! Janette came running down the hall, yelling at Jake to get off me...
*Convo in Spring's POV*
Spring: Janette?!
Janette: Jake MILLER!! GET YOUR ASS OFF MY BESTIE, AND GIVE BACK HER PHONE!!
Jake got off me, gave me my phone back. How did Janette know I was in trouble?...
Jake: I'll get you one day, sexy.
I grimaced as he said that, then he walked away...
Spring: Janet? How did you know I needed help?
Janette: After Nick tried calling you, he called me. I still have ringing in my ear, from how loud he was yelling!
Spring: Awe! That's so sweet, he cares. And, sorry about your ear. *giggles*
After that. Our school day went on like any other...
