"Jazz For Juniors", featuring a very special Band of Jazz Musicians

Jazz For Juniors is a live show designed especially for kids, the whole family, and for anyone who is young at heart and loves jazz music.

Trudy Kerr is joined on stage by a band of brilliant UK jazz musicians and their instruments piano, bass, drums, saxophone and trumpet. During an hour-long jazz adventure the band brings jazz music to children in a fun and exciting way.

Come and learn about the history of jazz music from its origins of slavery, marching bands and the blues through to today. The musicians introduce children to the instruments and how they work as well as how they fit together to make up the sound of a jazz band. The kids are involved as much as possible.

Expect lots of audience participation, from singing and clapping to marching, dancing and movement. There's even a drum lesson for a lucky volunteer.
