$22 here. And you are spot on about this bourbon. HOW can it be that good and that inexpensive?!? My liquor cabinet is incomplete without this one.

@whiskybitch alcohol is terribly expensive in Australia, knob creek your looking at about $100, regular jack daniels your looking at $35 its a disgrace. I was loving it when i went to california recently, i was buying beer for $14 a carton i couldnt believe my eyes, a carton of beer in Australia usually starts at $40

If you like EC 12 at $30, you would absolutely love it at $14.99 (the price I paid in Montgomery County, MD) or even at the more usual price of $22.99. Even so, I would agree that EC 12 is still a good value at $30. But it also makes me glad that I don't pay New England prices.

Quite like EC 12, but I can't get aboard with the added water, I like my Bourbon/Whiskey straight from the bottle just like God intended (I don't believe in God, lol). But each to their own, dilute away :)

@MrM1A1X I know what you mean, and generally we've found that we don't need water at anything below 45%. But It's really not about diluting it. It's about flavor. Sometimes just a drop of water -- literally ONE drop -- will open things up and let you taste more flavor. At one drop at a time, you can really control things. And when you get into something like Stagg that is bottled at over 70%, if you don't add a little water, the alcohol obscures a lot of great flavor.

@MrM1A1X there are a lot of bourbons I feel the same way about. I add water to EVERY whisky merely for my first tasting and tasting notes. I don't drink my bourbon with water once I've done my "hand dandy scientific research..."

EC12 is my favorite bourbon in it's price range. Excellent stuff!! ;)

@BrothuhV84 it's so good. Really I just can't believe how good it is. It's like drinking a whisky that tastes like it should be a lot more money.
