Playing through the 1998 cult classic PC/Mac third-person fantasy title "Dark Vengeance" as the Gladiator character in level 01.
Recorded using FRAPS. Rendered in hardware graphics mode (not RB 8-bit software renderer).
Still playing Dark Vengenace on your modern PC system? Let me know if you want my AutoIt script that I use to automate properly re-setting graphical settings when the game restarts (apparently proper preservation of settings has broken over the years).
@ChristopherChemist yep, did you like it better the original un-"corrected" way? It looks ultra-dark to me (and I'm an albino--so my eyes are much more sensitive to light than would be normal). And, I *am* still planning to do more. Just that between work, school, and other projects I've not yet had a chance to really sit down and record/play more...

@quinnebert I noticed your "old" version didn't have colour problems. Again, thanks for putting these videos up. I only had the demo, always wondered what the full game was like :)

@ChristopherChemist Absolutely, I am planning to get around to playing through more, eventually. I'm quite aware of the color problem--in fact, it's partly my fault, I was trying to combat some obscenely dark brightness levels--I may do the next level without any post process in my editor just to see if folks think it's more viewable.

Hi :) are you planning on doing more levels, and with trickster/warlock? also, the graphics seem to be a bit...monochromatic. but, i think it's ace that someone still plays this game :)
