The Price is Right commercial aired on MCTV-CBC in 1986-87

This is a classic television preview of The Price is Right, which was aired on the former MCTV-CBC television station (CKNC-TV) in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. MCTV stands for Mid-Canada Television or Mid-Canada Communications. Today, the station no longer exists as it is now a CBC rebroadcaster, CBLT-TV out of Toronto.

Note: Bob Barker has dark hair in this commercial and he announced his hair dye in late 1987, so this commercial was possibly recorded around 1986 or 1987 as i'm not sure the exact dates are.

No exact date or times the old TV shows were written on these video tapes. This tape contained television shows mostly of music videos. Bob Barker announced his hair dye in '87, so this was possibly from 1986.

This is one Commercial and show that we longer see on this former MCTV CBC Station...sadly on October 27, 2002 MCTV CBC Stations CHNB North Bay, CKNC Sudbury, CFCL Timmins and CJIC Sault Ste. Marie all became forever known as a full CBLT CBC Toronto Repeater!!! I could never forget when TPIR followed right after Days of our lives at 4 then TPIR at 5 and the Newleywed Game at 6 and 6:30pm was a whole mix of U.S Programs followed by the CBC Lineup at 7:30pm but not anymore!!!

That Good Lookin' slogan was used by a few Canadian stations - CKND Winnipeg and STV in Saskatchewan come to mind.
