^^The result of public education. As an outsider I knew that the US was created with classical liberal (now termed libertarian) ideologies. The forefathers never anticipated that future leaders would turn US into a social liberal ("liberals") state. And in order to preserve the liberty of its people they wrote the constitution. But the problem now is that leaders don't give a shit about the constitution. The US has now really strayed too far from the principles that made it a great nation.
