Aretha won't give her title up till her last breath, and I would say that her performances are definately getting better.
She will always remain the Queen of Soul, and one of the most influential singers ever, and after the Mandella concert I will always hear her.
She's the best without a doubt.

I saw her last week at Radio City, I wish she not do that "one note" thing. Granted she was probably tired and out of breath. The fast songs from her heyday are history, but she is still very powerful on the slow soulful tunes.
