This tractor is either a 6320 or 6420 series john deere, with the 640 loader attachment. It is the biggest tractor the local snow removal company in my town owns, and it is quite a beast. The snowblower has Dual augers, is probably around 8-9 feet wide and 3-4feet tall, and it can take a lot of snow. In this video its only snowblowing around 6 inches of snow, but I've seen it do a good foot and a half just as fast. Its not nearly big as the huge fendt 930 snowblowers, but its still a big machine. Please comment, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • ya 6420 is only 85 hp that thing is weak

  • it's rated at around 90hp at the PTO. And 90hp in a tractor is not weak at all, in fact, it's very powerful. Plenty powerful to run this beast of a snowblower.

  • I agree, it's about Torque Not HP.

  • Exactly.

  • 90 HP is pretty powerful but my grampa has a 160 HP at the pto. He also has a double auger snowblower and that thing will throw snow over those huge powerlinnes, it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Wow that is powerful. Hey check out my new video "John Deere Snowblowers," because the snow removal company replaced the tractor you see here with a 6140D, which has 140hp at the PTO, and they got a larger single auger pronovost snow blower for it. The video is of the 6140D blowing over 2 feet of snow. Its pretty awesome.

  • @Liftm0re I self have driven a 6420, with AP, and it was 130hk and i meen it was 108 at the pto or somtehing like that.

  • @worknsnow345 but weak enough to get stuck in my backyard, tried it..

  • we run a 4960 on a thrower with a 14 foot silage blade out front, it moves tons of snow

  • @shakes244 An original 6420 before 03 i think , is 115hp... after (when the common rail motor came) they had 120 original from factory

  • Just beautiful white stuff

  • @shakes244 they are geared so low that that is all it takes

  • put your hand in the ogger!!!! (oggar)?

  • no front p,t.o is why ejjit

  • well that's fucking stupid...why would any company put a snow blower on the back of any vehicle or machine. it makes no sense.
