They should have made a CD of a recording of the concert! They would have sold a lot of copies!

Glad to be of service :-)
Didn't mean to and wasn't aware I had replied twice. Guess blame a glitch on Youtube I guess. have just deleted one of them.

@BillyIsATwat23 Cheers mate, just grabbed one on Amazon for £8.63 and free delivery! Thanks a lot!

@DavidLancaster1974 It's on the BBC Records "BBC Radiophonic Music" LP (aka "the pink one") which is pretty easy to find for a reasonable price here in Britain (ignore the eBay/Discogs/Amazon chancers asking big money), which they re-released on CD (and limited LP) in 2002.
The current CD edition (with 2 bonus track) is on Mute Records and should cost you about £10 (approx $13usa)

I'm glad I didn't go, because I wouldn't be here now - I would have exploded with pleasure.
Seriously, when I'm on my deathbed, my biggest regret will be missing this concert. How wonderful to hear the collective applause of John Baker fans. I just he knew how appreciated he was.

Nice jazzy bit before the original to end.

Steve Wright used to play this on his afternoon show and talk over it leaving the end bit untouched before next feature.

Great stuff! I wish the original "New Worlds" track was more widely available. iTunes have plenty of John Baker tracks but not this one ...

John Baker created absolutely unique music.. A mind-bogglingly painstaking process with beautiful results. Buy his recent compilation now!
Ohhhhh thank you so much for putting this up - this was one of my favourite moments from the gig. The crowd's reaction to the Newsround logo/jingle was fantastic! Great sound too.

I wish I'd filmed more now, it was such a good night. Best gig I've been to in a long long time.
