  • I splurged on that new red version of the Vox AC30, cos I got such a good refund this year so I clicked "buy" cos I had such a good ambien buzz...Anyway, my Classic 30 sounds better than the AC30!! HUH?? Hey, there must be something I didn't know bout the Whammy pedal...you stepped on it and...CHORUS...comes out?

  • @gwugluud Yeah, the Whammy has 2 'Detune' settings that are really good for chorus effects

  • Would this amp be good for progressive hard rock like Porcupine Tree or Riverside? Also, is the Satchurator a good investment for distortion?

  • @JasonCliffordClement Brill for distortion, I wouldn't be able to reach the Satch high gain tones without it on the classic 50. The c50 is good for classic-hard rock and crystal clear clean tones, put the Satchurator in front of it and it can do pretty much anything.

  • I didn't like the satchurator with the classic 30 so I sold it and bought a budda zenman and there it was, I was hearing my B52 AT series in my classic 30. I tried 12 SS pedals and all sounded like ass on the classic, I have a B52 that takes overdrive pedals much better on the clean channel that the classic does. I use the overdrive channel on the classic with the budda zenman and it's glorious

  • @davet247 Alright, thanks. I am picking up a peavey classic 30 as a replacement for my old half stack. I got tired of lugging around such a beast, and it doesn't fit very well in my house. My guitar style is mainly leads and softer stuff, but sometimes it requires that heavier side -- I will look into a distortion pedal that might help bring out the "metal"-esque side of my playing. But so far the classic 30 is exactly what I've been looking for tone wise, minus some of my ballsier riffs.

  • Nice pony. More satchurator please.

  • 2 Minutes To Midnight!!! hahaha nicely done

  • i too use the satchurator with the Peavey classic(the 30 watt) and i think is the best amp for this pedal.nice tone dude!

  • Cool vid and performance !
