I LOVE how it just ends there with VDH's incredible comment and doesn't even bother with "the other guy". It was made apparent early in this debate that it didn't really matter what he thought anyway, he was obliterated before he even took the podium. Poor chap.

Edsforth is an idealist (indeed, a "dreamer") when it comes to what is needed to promote peace and democracy. Hanson is a realist and

desires to bring people into a democratic form of government who have never experienced

it's many blessings. What is really telling in this debate is the mutually exclusive views on the nature of man, that says much!

I still don't buy the story of 9/11, why does everyone always use that as an excuse for wars. Since the American Dream didn't work they promise to protect us from an exaggerated bogyman who lives in a cave. No one in a cave pulled that off. Some of us actually think. Thou SHALT NOT believe all thou art told. Thou SHALT seek knowledge and truth constantly. Thou SHALT NOT forget the atrocities committed in the name of god.
