Magnificient! I had almost lost my hope of ever hearing a perfomance like this of this lifetime favourite of mine, except for in my head. Although I've never thought of the first main theme being played as tranparently, it works fine, sounds like a desperate maniac's struggle with the demons... or something. Very effective bass crescendo at 2:01. The split octaves at 6:20 are new, as the whole approach is fresh and unpredicable. But where is the first part?

This type of perfrormance is capable of waking up Franz Liszt from his resting place. It is simply phenomenal. Thanx for sharing!
