Sorry that the quality is not great.
Hope you like it~ :-)

Here I am singing for a friends daughter (who turned 16 that night) and her high school Choir classmates. They asked if I could come over and sing for them.
I had laryngitis that night and I was so tired and emotional drained, but somehow managed to pull it off without having a breakdown in their living room.

LYRICS:
Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it ok
There's always some reason to feel not good enough??
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction, oh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
They may be empty and weightless, and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

In the arms of an Angel, fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here

So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees

In the arms of an Angel, far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
In the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here

because the quality is not very good and i love your voice ... your voice is so amazing ....

    love greetings Lisa :)

  • omg love this song ... ur really good :) keep up gd wrkkk :) xx <3

  • Amazing! Just amazing!

  • I love your channel, and you do such a nice job with so many songs. I'm subscribed and always will be. This song however is just not you. The slow melodic instrument background requires a strong no frills voice as well as technique to carry on the sadness feel and as well adding to the beauty. Your technique greatly over powered the natural beauty of your voice that should have shined through here. It was almost as if you were trying to show off and had something to prove. You don't. You r great

  • You bring just enough "you" to make this sweet and high quality.
