Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express [12957]

Ahmedabad-New Delhi S.J. Rajdhani hauled by a VTA WDM3 velociti passes Jhulasan at a very high speed.Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express was launched in 1997 after the Ahmedabad-New Delhi Section was converted to Broad Guage .This train usually hauled by a Vatva WDM2 or a WDM3 sometimes it also gets hauled by a TKD WDM2 or a BGKT WDG4 .It is the fastest service on the Ahmedabad-Delhi-Ahmedabad section.It is the only train that runs non-stop between Delhi Cantt and Jaipur Jn .The train runs on the old ICF Rajdhani Coaches.But the train is likely to run on LHB coaches when the Delhi-Ahmedabad section will be converted to double line from single line.The rake of this train comprises of 7 AC 3 TIER COACHES,4 AC 2 TIER COACHES,1 AC 1ST CLASS,1 PANTRY CAR and 2 GENERATOR CARS .Some of it,s important stoppages include Delhi Cantt,Jaipur,Ajmer,Abu Road and Palanpur.
