This is a edited version from 'Bang' episode 20 series 31 of The final episode of Grange Hill had a special guest appearance by 'Todd Carty' aka 'Tucker Jenkins' who was in the very first episode of Grange Hill when it all started back in 1978. Grange Hill was such an important programme when i was younger and it's ashame that such a long running programme had to come to an end. Thank You Phil Redmond for such a brilliant programme that shail never be forgotten for its story lines, realism and characters. RIP Grange Hill

  • I bought series 1 on DVD a few months back.. although I started secondary school 20yrs after it started, it was so similar haha.

Funny how Todd left Eastenders on a motorbike, then turns up at Grange Hill, on a motorbike.

"Yeh, you wanna kno the biggest mistake I ever made?... Changing my name to Mark Fowler and catching aids" haha

  • Why has Grange Hill finished? ah don't tell it doesn't represent the pathetic multicultural shit hole that we live in today.

  • @Hulk2k6 Well they should just cancel stuff they don't need

i mean i like tracy beaker

but the old series from when it 1st started are like 8 years old and we don't need stuff like deadly 60

They can't do it now though use Hollyoaks has nicked some of set for their show

  • @CollabLuvIn

Grange Hill couldn't survive now unless it had a DRASTIC retool and was put on E4 in Prime Time to expand on its teen market and be called Grange Hill: Reloaded/Next Generation/etc. And possibly a relocation back to London, its original setting. It couldn't work on BBC1/CBBC in this day and age.

WR appeals to a soap audience who need a fix to tide them over during the Wednesday gap when Enders and Corrie aren't on.

  • @Hulk2k6 yh but it's a good show

i mean waterloo road is getting more like a soap even though i like it

  • @CollabLuvIn

They'd only mess it up and there's not really room for a show like this any more.

  • @LordArsehat

Grange Hill had overstayed its welcome by about 5-10 years and it's new direction toward a younger market wasn't working out and it was no longer relevant to society. It was basically buried on the CBBC channel during its last years. Also the fact that the show moved 200 miles north in its 25th year with no explanation.

  • todd hasn't changed only a few wrinkles

  • the should bring it back

  • @MJallen88
