no 64 bits

Well it's simply put, a full midi controller like anything else. But more than others it's mapped as a mixer and has led's, which for all the poor DJs like myself makes it a little easier to use than a keyboard and simple knobs.

Just got hold of mine... its pretty special, haven't sorted out my full mapping yet but its such a nice piece of gear.

finally someone explaining the vcm-600, i have been looking everywhere for a in depth review on it for ages. This is the only one i can find great job!! but i would like to see another video on exactly what it was intended for not just what you do with it. and could you show whats goin on in ableton and a better view of the vcm 600

What it was intended for?
Its intended for midi control. In its basic form, a mixer, but then, you are free to totally dis-regard this, and just set it up how you want.
I would more approach it, like any controller, like this -
'What do I need a controller to do' - and then set one up to do so.
Otherwise you are just going to end up with a pile of buttons that you never use... :)
